Kelsey joined History in 2014 and quickly became the heartbeat of the shop. After starting in operations, she began barbering in 2017 and has since built a loyal following. She's known for her calm energy, creativity, and genuine connections with every client.

Connor became part of the team in 2022 after graduating from Barbering School in Edmonton. A short story writer and local history buff, he’s always up for a good chat. He specializes in classic cuts and loves making people feel at home in the chair.

Ellie brings over a decade of experience and a calm, steady hand to the chair. Originally from Syria, he’s known for his precision, kindness, and genuine care. A true gentleman, his presence uplifts the team and keeps clients coming back.

A former PSW and longtime friend of the shop, Gary became a barber in 2022. He brings care, laughs, and good stories to every cut. A proud dad of two, he loves fishing, the outdoors, and cracking open a cold Pabst while solving life’s mysteries.

Mike, aka "Leroux," joined us in 2014 and quickly made his mark with sharp cuts and serious skill. After running Two Crows Barbershop from 2021 to 2024, he’s back with us and better than ever. Focused solely on haircuts, Mike brings precision, passion, and good vibes to every session.

Michael founded History Barbershop and brings over 15 years of experience to the chair. Trained by Joth Davies in the UK, he’s a master barber, musician, and builder with a serious knack for detail. Known for his warmth and sharp memory, he makes every visit feel personal.

Jacob is our newest apprentice, training under Michael’s expert eye. With a background in woodworking and tattoo art, he brings a fresh creative spark to the shop. Originally from Orillia, he moved to Midland to be closer to his partner and her kids. Kind, driven, and always learning, Jacob is a welcome presence at our uptown spot.

Melanie is a licensed stylist who brings salon experience and fresh energy to the shop. As a junior barber, she’s in a few days a week, sharpening her skills and adding her creative flair. Friendly and focused, she’s all about making clients feel great and look even better.

Michelle has been with us since 2017, known for her creativity, warmth, and sharp eye for detail. She brings care and connection to every appointment, turning haircuts into feel-good experiences. Outside the shop, she’s often knitting something cozy or chasing her next creative project.

Ronin, a History-trained barber from Orillia, has been cutting since 2022. Known as the gentle giant, he brings calm energy and creativity to every cut. Based at our Midtown spot, he’s also a techno lover who produces beats and hits up music festivals on weekends.

Kyle, aka “Milne,” left corrections in 2020 to chase his passion for barbering—and he's been keeping things sharp and hilarious ever since. Known for his wit, fart jokes, and cocktail skills, he brings good vibes and serious craft to every cut.
