Kelsey has been a familiar and cherished face at History Barbershop since 2014, initially mastering the organization of the shop's daily operations. In 2017, she embarked on an apprenticeship, where her passion for creativity and building relationships with patrons flourished, leading her to become a skilled barber.
Kelsey is a devoted mother and friend, whose kindness and welcoming nature at the barbershop always delights her patrons.
Connor is a good-natured and polite professional. A history buff and short story writer, he loves chatting about adventures, local spots, and beer. Connor, who joined us in 2022 after completing Barbering School in Edmonton, His favorite haircuts to perform are classic cuts, which showcase his skill and passion for traditional barbering.
Michelle has been a beloved barber with us since 2017, bringing her passion and creativity to every haircut. Michelle's presence in our shop is a testament to her versatility, warmth, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Gary comes to us after years of compassionate care as a PSW. A friend of History for years, and a Barber since 2022, Gary brings humor, and care to every appointment. A proud dad of two, Gary loves the great outdoors, fishing, and pondering mysteries with a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon in hand. With a heart as big as his laugh, Gary's infectious personality makes every visit memorable—come for the haircut, stay for the stories!
Mike a.k.a. "Leroux" joined our team in 2014, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a passion for cutting hair. After a brief hiatus from 2021 to 2024, during which he ran his own establishment, Two Crows Barbershop in Midland, Michael has returned to continue his craft with us. Specializing exclusively in haircuts, Michael's dedication to his art ensures every client leaves the chair looking their best. We're thrilled to have him back!
Kyle joined the History team in 2014, quickly winning over patrons with his unique stories and imaginative ideas. As a Father, himself, Kyle's calm demeanor is great with the little ones! Josh, our esteemed cigar connoisseur, expertly manages the humidor at our Uptown location. Parker is our shop hand after school and on weekends. Born with a natural talent for barbering, he's following in the footsteps of his late grandfather, Don LeClair, a renowned barber in Midland for decades. Parker plays a crucial role in keeping the team organized and ensuring the shop runs smoothly.
Kyle a.k.a. "Milne", a former correctional officer turned barber, has been offering a safe space filled with laughter and good conversation since 2020. Known for his witty humor, and love for fart jokes, and creating craft cocktails, Kyle is deeply passionate about the art of hair.
Whether it's a classic Old Fashioned or an experimental new mix, Kyle pours his heart into every drink, just as he does with every haircut.
Ronin is a History-trained barber from Orillia, putting his creativity out there since 2022, and is affectionately recognized as the gentle giant due to his towering height and warm and friendly nature with patrons. Joining Milne at the Midtown location, Ronin is not only skilled with scissors but also has a passion for techno music, creating his own beats on a mixing board, and enjoys attending festivals.
